Just to let you know, the Ut 3 project is still on  , and i believe it is the last one,
Its open to nearly anyone who can use the unreal engine;
Ranging from any aspect of unreal.
The first phase has ended but there are 4 more parts left;

Top prize being $50,000 in the grand final.
Reason for advertising it; The ut3 community can still become alot better out of people competing in this mod and , might bring out more players to buy ut3.
First i thought ut3 was bad, but after playing it for a while, it grew on me, it isnt as bad as it seems.

But yeah, it isn't so bad. And that comes from someone who only played the demo. It's different, but it's original enough to be good, if that makes sense. :p

The game itself isn't bad...
it's the way Epic handled it. With too many flaws it's released. No fixes.. It's not userfriendly. That's what scares alot of people away. It's an unfinished product.

the movement feels heavy and clunky
the weapons look nice but some feel wrong. take the sniper, u aim and fire but once u click the mouse there is a delay before it fires...so basically what was one of the top weapons in UT, now feels useless. Put simply the new weapons feel crap compared to UT99 ones :/
so if that doesn't make the game a disappointment, what does?

UT3 is the biggest wate of money,the charaters feel like mr blobby,jump like a sack of potatoes and the game play sux
nothing is going to beat UT99's game play

It's down to a liking, I guess. Many people like the Normal Weapons MOD better, but quite frankly I think it's crap.
The insta is crap too, but better.
